Before you share your story..

let me tell you mine..

Hi, I’m Sydney Williams! I’m 19 years old and currently a Mass Communications student at Georgia College & State University.

I currently serve as the Arts & Life Editor for The Colonnade, where I combine my creativity and love for writing. Photography has become one of my favorite creative outlets, and my experience on my high school yearbook staff inspired me to start my own business and help capture people’s stories through lasting visuals.

I enjoy creating a space where people feel comfortable in front of the camera, getting to know their stories, & exploring anything creative that brings those moments to life.

MY Photography Journey

Yearbook Staff

I first discovered my love for storytelling through photography while working on my high school yearbook staff. I served as Photography Editor, Social Media Manager, and eventually Editor-in-Chief, helping capture and lead the visuals that told the story of my school community.

I was hired by The Colonnade, the school newspaper at GCSU, as Assistant Arts & Life Editor during my freshman year. I was recently promoted to Head Arts & Life Editor and also had the opportunity to travel to New York City for a conference, gaining valuable experience and inspiration in the field.
